Christian Ed and Youth Events May 11 through June 08

Children’s Sunday school at St. Mary's encourages children, ages 3 through High School Seniors, to learn about and grow in God's love. Sunday School meets Sunday mornings from 9:00 until 9:45 a.m. and runs from September through May. A nursery is provided for children under 3 years of age.

The goal of our Sunday school program is to provide a positive loving environment in which a child can learn about faith, find friends, and have fun. We strive to provide age-appropriate Christian Education and have recently adopted the David C. Cook Bible-in-Life curriculum.

Currently we have an average of 45 students attending, along with 21 volunteer rotating teachers. Classes are broken down into the following groups:

• Pre K 3-5 year olds

• Kindergarten-1st grade

• 2nd-3rd grade

• 4th-5th grade

• Middle School

• High School

Pre K through 1^st grade start the morning with a 15 minute music program before moving on to their regular classes. Classic children’s Bible songs, hymns and movement music are selected to encourage fun while learning.
