Outreach
St. Mary's Episcopal Church participates in the "Love One Another" outreach ministry , a partnership of First Baptist Church in Dade City, and The City of Dade City Youth Council, to reach out to our community to provide a meal to those in need. We also participate in Angel Tree Ministries, support Episcopal Relief & Develpoment "Nets for Life", DayStar Ministries, Lighthouse Mission, New Jersualem Church of God Feeding Ministries.
Youth Ministry
Our teenagers from grade 7th through 12th grades meet weekly on Sunday nights for a time of fellowship, fun, prayer and reflection. This is a time and place to make new friends, to grow in faith and to explore faith in a safe and open environment. We play games, work on outreach projects, go on mission trips, serve meals to the Homeless at Love One Another, explore topics and themes of being a teenager and a Christian in the 21st century and yes, while having lots of fun on the way.
Music Ministry
St. Mary's is committed to a music ministry that will bring glory to Jesus. In addition to providing music for the 10:00 a.m. service, the Adult, Tone Chime and Youth choirs also perfomr at Evensongs, Gospel Sings, a Service of Lessons and Carols, Christmas Eve Services, and Christmas Caroling at Hospice and local Nursng Homes each year.
During the summer months, anyone who enjoys singing (grades 9-adult) is invited to meet in the choir room at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings for a brief rehearsal prior to the 10:00 a.m. service. Please come and sing with us!!
Have you ever played an instrument (trumpet, flute, clarinet, percussion, piano, etc.)? Come to the organ following the service and let Barbara know!
Christian Education for Youth & Adults
Children’s Sunday school at St. Mary's encourages children, ages 3 through High School Seniors, to learn about and grow in God's love. Sunday School meets Sunday mornings from 9:00 until 9:45 a.m. and runs from September through May. A nursery is provided for children under 3 years of age.
Adult Forums
At 9:00 AM between our two services we gather together to study scripture, engage the culture we live in, discuss our lives and reflect on current issues in the light of our faith, and learn to see how the Gospel sends us out into the world to make a difference in our lives, our families, our communities and in the world that God created.
There are also Bible studies weekly on Tuesday Nights 7:00 PM and Thursday Mornings at 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
The goal of our Sunday school program is to provide a positive loving environment in which a child can learn about faith, find friends, and have fun. We strive to provide age-appropriate Christian Education and have recently adopted the David C. Cook Bible-in-Life curriculum. Classes are broken down into the following groups:
- Pre K 3-5 year olds
-Kindergarten-1st grade
-2nd-3rd grade

-4th-5th grade
- Middle School

-High School
Pre K through 1st grade start the morning with a 15 minute music program before moving on to their regular classes. Classic children’s Bible songs, hymns and movement music are selected to encourage fun while learning.
